Restaurant Chez Claudette Reviews
Poutine was so good and there were so many choices on the menu for poutine variations. Delicious!
Gosh! I can only say kind things about this place. Portions and price were fantastic. We needed to have some poutine while we were in town and this was definitely the spot to do that!
The food was very good. The poutine was loaded with toppings, and the cabbage on the hot dogs added a small spicy kick to them, which was unexpected, but quite good. However, it was the warm, friendly staff that was the true standout that made this place an instant memorable experience and i will definitely return because of it.
Oh my goshhh this poutine. I got the classique because it doesn't hurt to go the simple route! So. Delicious. Atmosphere was great! Everything was clean! Waitress was very nice!!!
Can’t beat Chez Claudette for cheap greasy quebecois food. Regardless, of whether you want a poutine, burger, or hot dog, this is the place to get large portions for cheap. From my understanding, this restaurant still looks as it did when it opened, featuring a very retro, diner-esque style. For service, the staff are very nice, however they can be a little slow regarding receiving the bill. But the restaurant offers a great vibe so you barely feel the wait.
Good price, the poutine sauce is extra good and portions are generous. First time here but I'll come again and recommend it to my friends
I came here at the recommenion of some local friends and I totally loved it. Very nice ambiance and service. The menu has so many choices but their star dishes are the poutines. I took the Celine ones and they were very good. My advice is to take the small portion beacuse it is enough to feed a person no matter how hungry they are.
Chez Claudette is such a delightful spot and truly a must-visit for any foodie in Montreal! The charming exterior welcomes you inside, where you'll find a menu filled with delicious and super affordable comfort food classics—from hot dogs to hamburger steak to lasagna. But let’s talk about the real star here: their poutines! They serve up the best poutine ever, with crispy fries, rich savory gravy, and just the right amount of cheese curds. It's a dream come true for poutine and fries lovers! I couldn’t resist trying the "Grilled Chicken" poutine topped with bacon, along with a fluffy egg omelet, and oh boy, it was absolutely heavenly! The portions are generous, too, without breaking the bank. The service is fantastic, and the dining area is clean and spacious, making it such a pleasant experience. If you ever find yourself in Montreal, you absolutely owe it to yourself to stop by. I can't wait to go back on my next trip!
